The Tiled Hall
Positioned between the Art Gallery and Central Library, the Tiled Hall puts you right in the heart of the city's cultural district.

Originally built as a reading room in 1884, this magnificent room lay hidden underneath plasterboard and false walls for decades, until it was revealed during some renovation work in the late 1990's. With its grand marble columns, ornate tiles, barrel vaulted mosaic ceiling and original parquet flooring; this is a rediscovered gem that celebrates a great period of history and mirrors Leeds today as a city that is booming economically, culturally and creatively.
The Tiled Hall's bold and beautiful decor provides a truly breathtaking and unique backdrop that will enhance and add a touch of class to any meeting or casual lunch whether it is for one person or an event of 275.
