Project Space Leeds
PSL (Project Space Leeds), situated on the waterfront, is excellent to escape the city rush and take in some of the region's most unique art.
PSL [Project Space Leeds] is an independent, artist-led contemporary art space. Based in the city centre, PSL stages exhibitions of modern and contemporary art across all art forms, and shows work by artists from the UK and abroad.
Associated events such as talks, seminars and education workshops sit alongside the exhibitions program, engaging diverse audiences and aiming to grow awareness of the contemporary visual arts in the city. By working with curators from outside Leeds, PSL aims not only to bring established artists to the city and to provide opportunities for native talent, but also to position Leeds on the national and international radar.
PSL was founded in 2006 by artist curators Pippa Hale, Kerry Harker and Diane Howse working in partnership with property developer K W Linfoot Plc.
PSL occupies 500 square metres of ground floor exhibition space at Whitehall Waterfront in the new West End of Leeds, just 5 minutes' walk from the train station.
