Leeds City Museum

In Autumn 2005 refurbishment work started to turn the old Civic Theatre into an exciting new museum, a great cultural addition to the heart of Leeds. The lottery funded project saw the Grade II listed Institute Building in Millennium Square transformed into a state-of-the-art museum. Opened in September 2008 the museum offers a magnificent setting for a range of corporate functions.

There are two conference rooms available for hire, both tastefully decorated to a high specification with internet access and breakout space for refreshments. The Denny Room will accommodate up to 60 theatre and a variety of other flexible layouts and comes equipped with data projector, screen, TV and DVD/VCR. The Thoresby Room will accommodate up to 90 theatre style and a variety of other flexible layouts and comes equipped with interactive white board, data projector and laptop.
