Jeffrey Sherwin Surrealist Dinner

An unusual event by anyone's standards, the Jeffrey Sherwin Surrealist Dinner had very specific remit, and one that captured the imagination of the entire kitchen team; the dinner required a surrealist theme, mimicking the opening of the International Surrealist Exhibition of 1936. The Tiled Hall was an ideal venue and this party took full advantage of its location within Leeds City Art Gallery. In keeping with the Art theme of the event, the dinner had to be presented in a unique and interesting fashion; to this end, the starter entitled ‘A Collector's Eye' consisted of a duo of Terrines served oval shaped and to look like a pair of eyes!
